See http://fieldtrip.fcdonders.nl/development/realtime/implementation, there should be a page with some minimal details and a link to artinis. Also the new interface by TMSi should be mentioned, at this moment it not.

I am no longer working on FieldTrip. Hence, I donate all my bugs to the joint development user.

Robert Oostenveld - 2013-01-24 12:29:07 +0100

I changed a bunch of bugs that were assigned to fieldtrip-bugs from ASSIGNED into NEW, since nobody is now explicitly working on them.

One for Jorn ;-)?

:)

Jörn M. Horschig - 2014-06-03 10:29:42 +0200

I added artinis for now: http://fieldtrip.fcdonders.nl/development/realtime/implementation?&#implementations_for_aquisition_systems But I am not sure if all information about the interfacing is correct. Robert, do you know enough to check or should I ask someone from Artinis to check?

Robert Oostenveld - 2014-06-03 17:51:29 +0200

(In reply to Jörn M. Horschig from comment #5) Current documentation is not bad. It would be nice to make it slightly mor specific, i.e., mention hostname:port, (what is gheir default port?) and perhaps add a screenshot of the config window in their software wher something needs to be set/enabled. You do need artinis to help out hee.

Jörn M. Horschig - 2014-06-17 10:52:13 +0200

I extende the documentation a bit. Apparently, you need to edit a .ini-file for realtime streaming, in which you also can define the socket-port. In the documentation that was send to me are also some details on the datastream itself (i.e. it's ascii lines, terminate by \n) - that information is probably too specific for the FieldTrip page, isn't it?

Robert Oostenveld - 2014-06-17 13:35:07 +0200

(In reply to Jörn M. Horschig from comment #7) you could point to the Artinis documentation. I.e. knowing that the documentation exists (and if possible referring to it by name) would be useful for people that want to do it.

Jörn M. Horschig - 2014-06-17 13:45:09 +0200

I don't think that that document exists online

Robert Oostenveld - 2014-06-17 14:28:26 +0200

(In reply to Jörn M. Horschig from comment #9) does not have to be online, paper will also do. Just a pointer to the "Artinis reference manual" is fine. Just like we refer to the Talairach atlas, which also only exists on paper.

done and closed (for now)

Robert Oostenveld - 2019-08-10 12:28:57 +0200

This closes a whole series of bugs that have been resolved (either FIXED/WONTFIX/INVALID) for quite some time. If you disagree, please file a new issue describing the issue on https://github.com/fieldtrip/fieldtrip/issues.
